Other Events Page

Welcome!

Metro Detroit Gamers
are a diverse group, and our Other Events reflects this.  These events are in addition to our two yearly Conventions, and we hope these events will increase gaming in the Metro Detroit Area.

If you want your group's gaming events listed, drop an email to our Marketing Director or our very energetic RPG Director Alan. You have options to place notices here (especially if you want us to sponsor the event in the name of MDG) and
at our Yahoo Groups site.  We VERY STRONGLY encourage you to post your event on the Yahoo site - it will be immediately, and we would like that Group to serve as a "connection point" for all gaming in Metro Detroit. So please, make use of it.

MDG is working on some long-range plans (as of May 2009), so expect to see our folks in more places running more events. We are working with some friends to re-connect the gaming community, so write us and get involved. We need YOUR valuable assistance,

As for the
Deck of Many Things
newsletter, we are slowly working on plans for this. For now, occasional postings can be found on our Yahoo Groups site undetr that heading. We are seekng submissions including articles on the gaming scene here in the Metro area ( yes, we want to know about your home games), general tips for gamemaseting, reviews, in-game play tips, etc. If you want to submit an article, shoot it to our DOTM Editor.

Other than that, come out and game with us.
